Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress, best known as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons on AMC's period comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. The series earned the actress six Emmy nominations for the best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Over the course of her professional career, she gained recognition for her part in the comedy drama Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star. Her performances are noted in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also provided voiceovers in animation films such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. The career she began with was modeling and she continued it throughout her career until she made her debut as an actor on TV through Undressed, a 1999 television series. Her first major role on the show in Beggars and Choosers. Her role in Firefly which is a classic film that was also highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, accompanied.
